Camp Friction Put To The Test! | Survivor South Africa
Previously on Survivor 20 South Africans started the adventure of a lifetime. want to overthink. I want to go in with an open mind and just take everything as it comes. At Vuna, alliances started forming. I really like you guys, but There’s some lack of vibes here. If you want once to have an alliance with me.
At the Zamba tribe, Dino had the individual immunity necklace. It does put a bit of a target once this necklace is gone. Keanu and Shawn got an early target on them. It just seems that he was looking quite hard for an idol. This already just puts a target on their back, which makes our lives a little bit easier. At the fire-making challenge, Chappies won flint for Vuna. Vuna wins reward.
And both Chappies and Jason received diplomatic immunity. Actually got the power to send yourself to the opposition tribe. I do. After Zamba lost the immunity challenge Who’s desperate and scrambling? Jason tried to convince Anela and Renier to vote Amy out. At the moment, he’s just throwing names everywhere.
I can’t afford unpredictability outside of my alliance. At the tribal council, Shawn’s paranoia got the better of him. No one’s told me anything about voting, which means who’s on the block? This guy. But Jason got blindsided. First person voted out of Survivor SA Immunity Island Jason. Oh, no way. Tribe has spoken. 19 are left.
Who will be voted out tonight? I must admit I got a love-hate relationship with you guys. Yeah. I hate that you put me through that torture yesterday, but I love the blindside. I was fighting for my life, right? Um, and if you’re fighting for your life, you can’t have a regret. Um, it opened up a lot of people’s eyes to other things. Dino’s a smart guy.
He He’s smooth with his mouth. He’s playing this game. Yeah. And at some point, he’s just going to grow stronger and stronger. Yes. He’s the He was the one saying, “Help me. Help me.” Sean, um he was trying to maybe steer the conversation to tacitly like get us to accept him into the alliance. And I think he did that quite cleverly by dropping Dino’s name in the in the danger heads a bit to maybe, I don’t know, take some some pressure off of his own back.
I mean, I have a underground mafia kind of vibes going on. No one knows about it. No one sees us together. No one knows we’re chatting. How you feeling last night where you stand? We just meet up, quickly lay down the information which we have, and then no one knows about that. And that really excites me. I think we are cutting clean on this.
And if we can keep this up for another 5, 10, I don’t know how many days, I think we’re in a very, very good position. I trust you implicitly. Like we’ve We have our thing. Thanks a lot. And I can ditto that. Yeah, I can. Renee actually approached me about having this like secret alliance. Good chat. Good chat, indeed.
What I say, I do. And I think that’s an important thing in this game, especially early on when you’re establishing trust and trying to form a strong alliance. Can I ask you, Paul, will you be able to vote this um The frame. the frame? I can. Paul is just like Bear Grylls. I mean, the guy is building a whole bamboo cathedral um in that mud patch.

I mean, we’ve called him Saint Paul. I just noticed a tribe swap. I need you to be on my team. Oh, man. Because if we have to rebuild the shelter Yeah. and you’re not there, I’m not going to be very You should have been learning, Cara. I was learning. I I learned how to twine. That’s the whole thing about these types of things. I learned how to twine.
I learned how to do the structure. Watching and stealing with the eye. Pinty, um I can tell that she doesn’t really like me or I think that she doesn’t really like me and has seen me off a little bit. Cuz if you look at that tribe, they divided it. So We don’t actually know that. I don’t think that’s a fair statement yet.
I think I also think one of our biggest mistakes is going to be to underestimate that tribe. If you look at us from an outside perspective, right? You see a bond. You see a family. You see a tribe that’s united. Am I right? If you’re telling me that you saw that in that tribe yesterday, I don’t So that’s what I mean by No, no, 100% and I’m with you.
I’ve told myself I’d give myself 3 days until I make a decision on someone and if I want to work with them or not and just based on these past three, there’s no chance. She’s young. There’s something off. Come on in, guys. Bruna getting their first look at the new Zumba tribe. Jason voted out at the last Tribal
Council. You guys ready to get to your next reward challenge? Please. Absolutely. All right, here’s how it’s going to work. On my go, eight members of each tribe will race out to those cage structures in the water four at a time. Once you get there, you need to retrieve four fish traps.
Inside puzzle pieces in bags, you need to retrieve those, bring them to the beach. When you get here, one member of each tribe will build a puzzle. First tribe to complete that correctly wins this challenge and the reward. Guys want to know what you’re playing for? Yes. Yes. An ultimate Woah. fishing kit. That’s proper. You’re playing for. Yes.
All right. Vuna, you’ve got one extra member. That means someone will need to sit out. Going forward, it can’t be the same person in back-to-back challenges, so keep that in mind. I’ll give you all a moment to strategize and then we’ll get to it. All right. Sitting out for Vuna is Anesu. Vuna, Zamba, playing for reward in the form of an ultimate fishing kit.
Survivors ready? Yes. Go. GO, GO, GO. THERE WE GO, GUYS. LOOK AT THEM RUN. BOTH tribes making a bee line for those cages. Paul is over the top. Go, Paul. Dino and Anesu going over the top. GO, MAN. GO, AMY. GO, GO, GO, GO. GO, ANESU. GO, ANESU. Everyone in the Vuna cage now going for those traps. You need to untie them. There are two knots.
Paul and Cola coming back with that first trap. Nice, guys. Amy’s struggling to get into a cage. Amy, YOU NEED TO HUSTLE. GO, AMY. THE FIRST TRAP IS BACK AT VUNA. Vuna taking a lead in this challenge right from the get-go. Dion, Amy, he come. First tap coming in for Zomba. Second tap for Zomba. Go go go Zomba, go.
Zomba need to make up some lost time now. Vuna already climbing over for that second trap. Santoni, you’re lagging. You’re lagging. Don’t walk. Come on, Santoni. Come on, monkey grip. You need to help me. Sean reaching down to help Marisha up, but she says, “I don’t need you.” I’m going to try and I say, “Fuck your day.” Let me show you how.

Santoni’s struggling to get up that cage. “Santoni, you’re fine.” Well done. One more, one more. And here comes Mike. MIKE NOW BACK FOR THE THIRD TRAP. Chap is back with these. Santoni, they can’t move till you’re here. Don’t walk, run. Hardy coming in. Chap is going back for Santoni. And just like that, Zomba taking the lead.
Chap is helping Santoni out the water. Vuna can’t start until everybody’s on their mat. Greg. You got to untie the knots on the traps. Untie the bags. Only then can you hand them to your puzzle builder. You got this, girl. Well done, well done. Kieran waiting for Vuna to get those pieces out. You’re at your best, Kieran.
Kieran at the table for Vuna, Teresa for Zomba. Teresa, it’s got to go inside the puzzle. You can’t have it outside the frame. It’s got to be There’s three lines. Remember, you can tap out at any time you need to go back to your mat. Keep trying to figure it out, Kieran. Before the the person can take your place. I’m tapping out.
Okay, come back. Come back. There is a tapping out. Shawn taking her place. Once again, a physical challenge has become a mental one. Everything resting in the hands of the puzzle builders now. Kieran tapping out. Pinte coming in. Neither tribe has a piece placed just yet. Shows you how tough this puzzle is. I’m going to take you in.
But look here. Okay, Shawn tapping out. Dino coming in for Zamba. Come on, Dino. Which tribe will manage to place the first puzzle piece? That will be very telling. Give him more time and see what he can do. Yes, Dino. Dino placing one piece for Zamba. Nice, Dino. Nice.
And Zamba places a second piece. Yes, Dino. Well done. Pinte. Pinte. Pinte. Just figure it out. Figure it out. Do a do a quick change and then we can tell you. Pressure building at Bruna. Got this? Got this? There we go. Piece of cake. Dino places another one for Zamba. Zamba, three pieces placed, taking the lead in this challenge now.
Slowly but surely. Paul now taking over the reins as a puzzle builder for Bruna. Can he catch up to a very very strong lead at Zamba? Five pieces placed at Zamba. Three more, baby. Huge reward up for grabs here. Dino’s got it. Dino’s got it. Yes. Another one goes in. Dino placing his sixth puzzle piece at Zamba. Only two to go.
Loads of catch-up there. Bruna needing a miracle now to make this happen. Zamba thinks they have it. THEY DO. ZAMBA wins the reward. Zamba, congratulations. Thank you. Spoils are yours. Grab your stuff, head on out. Good work, guys. Bruna, I’ve got nothing for you. Grab your stuff, off you go. I didn’t let my tribe down in the reward challenge.
I was a bit slower, but at the end it was all about the puzzle. And the puzzle was what what lost us that challenge. I did my best and I’m proud. Well done, guys. Yeah, you win some, you lose some. It’s all good. What I just realized is, you know, it’s it’s bound to happen that you’re going to lose at some other stage. Also, it’s good to be humbled, you know? I don’t think it’s a bad thing that we lost. Today we lost our first challenge.
Some other time, you will most probably also going to lose a immunity challenge. And then you’ve got to be on the in with the majority tribe member. So, I thought, who can we include next? Are you in, Polly? I’m in. The man is in. No, but seriously. Yes. Yes, I’m in. I’m playing a trust game. Yeah, I’m in. I don’t want to be blindsided.
All right, like I told you. I believe Polly’s in. Okay. Yeah, it seems like Polly is 100% in this alliance with us. We are the formidable four. I’ve got something binding this group of three between us. What did you get? It is diplomatic immunity. Diplomatic Diplomatic immunity, so how it works is if we come to lose a immunity challenge, I can send either myself or anyone from our tribe to the other tribe.
I feel really strong about Pintey and Chappies because I’ve spoken to them on our own where we said we were formidable three, but Paul was now roped in today which was interesting. Paul is like the rogue agent. Paul is the one that doesn’t I’d really like it to maybe stay that way where you and I are not I’m just yeah, yeah.

I’ve got my eye on Paul. I think he’s playing a super social game, so witty. Um, he’s building around camp and I saw those eyes moving during that conversation. So, out of that four, I’m still waiting for the jury on Paul. The reward today was um, fishing gear. Not only did we win, we dominated and that just felt great.
You know, putting it in Vuna’s face was even more enjoyable. Look, we have fishing gear. Well done. That was awesome. I was extremely surprised by him. You know, I did not expect him to be so good at deciphering puzzles. Not only is he a sneaky player, but also very beneficial in the challenges. So, definitely my antennas went up and I was like, something to note.
Well done again, hey. That was some BMT. To step up like that. There’s no doubting that he is going to be a powerful player and the further he gets into the game, the stronger he’s going to become. Hopefully in the next immunity challenge, we like That’s That’s what I’m talking about. It did feel good to completely obliterate the other side, but then a very quickly very quickly the realization set in and I was like, it might be one challenge, but you’ve just kicked everyone’s ass in front of everyone and if people are thinking long
term, people might think, how do you beat that? And that plays against me. Should we maybe lose an immunity challenge, they must probably going to send one of our weakest members to immunity island. What if we got the weakest one on the outs in and the alliance and kind of gain some valuable information from immunity island.
You see where I’m going? So, what if we got Santoni actually on our side? It would be unexpected. You see Santoni can’t keep quiet. Santoni might actually be an asset going into the long run of the game. We’ve got one extra vote that might give you complete control of the game. So, have you got any ideas of who you would like to maybe align with or There is somebody I would want to work with for sure. Okay.
That makes you so happy. Because we click. Well, so it’s like, you know, it only makes sense. In terms of alliances, I’m aligned to Warda and Anesu the most. And then they’ve told me that they’ve spoken to Palesa T and they called her. So, we four deep in terms of votes going our way and then I’m trying to get Kieran on my side, but at the same time he’s so close to Mike, somebody I genuinely don’t trust in this game.
So, like look, I I can tell you I speak to Mike a lot in a friendly sense, right? And for me, the thing that is is very obvious is he comes across as a as a person who really knows the game. I’m not really buying what Mike’s selling to be honest with you. There’s something about like Mike I go with my gut. Trying to align myself with who I think is strong in the tribe and trying to stay strong with those guys, but I feel like Mike might have the biggest target on his back so far.
We still haven’t spoken you and I about Tyson. No, Tyson is If you You to pull him in Tyson is 150% with me and you. Yeah. You will go wherever we go. The yoga teachers are united. We know where we stand with one another and Tyson’s one of our trusted people in our inner circle. Basically the people who we can count on are Fainting, Chappies, Tyson, me and you. And that’s our five. Yeah.
Who is going to be a bit of a I don’t want to even go there. I’m worried that if we don’t win tomorrow they might just send Santoni. They’re definitely sending her. So that means that she’s out then. Yeah. The nice thing is that Anesu is in all the alliances. So Anesu is the chosen person for her alliance with that is Fainting.
But she’s also in Mike’s alliance, which is great because she’s been feeding all the information back to me so I know what’s happening in all the alliances in the tribe. Yogi. Been doing some scrambling today even though I don’t need to. Like I know for a fact I want to play with you. I don’t want to play with Mike.
Like I’m seeing you guys as my core three. I really want to work with you. I really want to work with Mike. I’m also scared that people are looking at Mike as a target. But we can’t have a target on his back. I won’t allow it. I am a bit protective of Mike. I think he’s the deepest connection that I’ve formed so far.
Do you think people don’t like him? So so I love him. I I like him also. Yeah. As soon as I hear that he might be feeling a bit on the outs or a little bit sensitive, I’m going to get protective and I want to try find another Mike. You know, people aren’t going to target him. They’d rather target someone else. So like we need to Chappies is a threat.
Fainting is a threat. She’s becoming a little bit aggressive. She’s a little bit of a nerdle. She’s very bossy. It’s only her way or the highway and I don’t I can’t work with someone like that. That could probably be a later vote. I’m a little bit scared of playing the game too hard, too fast. I know that gets people in trouble.
I don’t want to get a target on my back by and trying to pull off an elaborate blindside. That’s I’m not the right time yet. Can we move the spot, hey? Yeah, I make sure it’s clean, but it’s it’s better than I guess these are probably Clar- Cara’s shoes and I keep telling her to stop putting her shoes there.
So, she must just not keep putting her shoes there cuz she’s going to learn the hard way. Cara? Those are mine, yeah. Why do you keep putting them by the fire? Um Do you want them to burn? Everyone’s on high alert, but it feels like it’s they’re going to be attacking each other. So, I’m just keeping quiet today, staying out of the firing line.
Hopefully, they’re going to not be stupid enough to maybe vote the obvious choice, the not so physical person off, but I think they’re going to Hopefully, let’s pray they’re going to be gunning for each other. Coming in, guys. I think we’re going to do well today, um just based on our loss yesterday.
We’re humbled by the experience of losing because egos trip and humble doesn’t stumble. You know, initially he was worried about taking the responsibility of doing puzzles. Now that immunity’s really needed, I think he realized he actually needs to step up on that section now. One of the things that makes the show so great and yet so tough at the same time is adversity.
There’s the challenges that we throw at you, the social game you throw at one another, and of course, whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at us. Are you guys ready to get to your next tribal immunity challenge? Yes. Santoni, I need to take that back? Thank you. Once again, tribal immunity is up for grabs. If you want it, you have to win it.
All right, here’s how it’s going to work. On my go, both tribes will race through an obstacle course whilst carrying heavy bags containing a mix of coconuts and sandbags. Once you get to the other side, you need to separate the coconuts and sandbags. Then one tribe member will use the sandbags to knock off a stack of blocks on a table depicting your tribe logo.
Once you’ve cleared the table, two other tribe members will then attempt to reassemble that stack of blocks into its original state. First tribe to do that correctly wins this challenge. Winning tribe will also get to send someone from the losing tribe to Immunity Island. The losing tribe date with me at Tribal Council where one of you will be the next person voted out of this game.
All right, Vuna tribe, you have one extra player. That means someone has to sit out. Can’t be the same in back-to-back challenges. I’ll give you all a moment to strategize and we’ll get to it. Sitting out for Vuna is Santoni. Zamba, Vuna playing for TRIBAL IMMUNITY. SURVIVORS READY? YES. GO! GRAB YOUR BAGS, MAKE YOUR WAY OVER TO THE FIRST OBSTACLE.
UNDER, OVER, UNDER. Everybody got to be on the other side before you progress. Under, under, under, under, under. Go, Vuna, go! Vuna first tribe to move to THE NEXT STAGE. GO, GO, GO, ZAMBA, GO! NICE. Slowly does it. Good job. Tino making his way over for Zamba. Well done, well done, well done. The bag is heavy.
Throws your balance off. Well done, Jeff. Well done, Jeff. Very precarious making your way across this beam. When you get to the center, the weight shifts, you got to keep it together. If you fall off, you start again. Well done. You got this, Carl out. Just like that. Well done, Carl. Go, well done. Slow, slow, breathe. Nice, Carl out.
Easy. Almost falling off, but Carl out makes it through. Let’s go, let’s go. Nicole precariously balancing. Little flip. Go, go, go. Go, go, go. Go, go, go. Nicole, you are off. Back to the start. I’m going to go back and help girls with bags. I’ll run. Nice, Carl out. Well done, making a slow crossover, and she is through.
Nice, Mikey. There we go. Well done. Nice, Mikey. Keep your center, Bruno. Mikey keeps it together, and he is through. Good one, Bruno. Amy struggling to get on. Amy, leave your bag. Slowly, slowly. Teresa going over with no bag. Someone else carrying the weight in her tribe. Yes, stretch, stretch, stretch, stretch.
Slow, Precious. Slow, Precious. Yes, there we go. Stretch, stretch. Nicely, easy. Precious through. Teresa struggling, and she has no bag. Go, Teresa. Teresa, come. Let’s go, let’s go. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid. Let’s go, let’s go. Yes. Got it, got it. Renee now going up at Zamba, and this you. The last person on Bruno to make their way across.
RENEE, ARE YOU OKAY? CHOP. Are you okay? Yep. Renee is taking a big fall, going back to the start. ZAMBA, KEEP IT TOGETHER. KEEP IT TOGETHER. IF YOU RUSH, you fall. GO, BRUNO, GO. BRUNO, BIG LEAN NOW. ZAMBA still struggling their way across that seesaw. Yes, Bruno. Steady. Morning, Carl. You’re looking beautiful. Steady. Go, Bruno. Go.
Yay. Good job. Nice, nice. BRUNO IS THROUGH FOR BRUNO on the third obstacle. Tyson making his way across with his bag. Flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip. Zamba still a long way to go. Three people to make it across. Go, Bruno. Go. Yes. Breathe, breathe, steady. Niece to maintain his balance on that beam. Stay.
Stay calm. Reneer has it. He’s running over. He’s through. Reneer is through for Zamba. Sean is through. ZAMBA, YOU ARE READY. GO. YOU GOT THIS, DINO. DINO carrying two bags now. Come on, Alston. Come on, Alston. Come on. Easy, nice and slow. Go, Chap. Please, go, Chap. Please. SLOWLY, SLOWLY, THERE, CHAP. YOU GOT IT. You got it.
This is WELL DONE, KIM. COME ON. COME ON, KIM. There we go. Chap is coming through for Vuna. Two bags. And he is through. Vuna making quick work of this challenge. Mike going up for Vuna. Sean almost falling off. And he KEEPS IT TOGETHER. SEAN IS THROUGH FOR ZAMBA. Running back for more. Everyone hold your bag. Everyone hold your bag.
Everyone get ready. Everyone get ready. Marisha coming across with her bag taking it slow. So, so you know where you want to enter them so you can do it. Come on, Alston. Go. Go. And Nesto, the only one left at Vuna before they can move on. Take it slow. Sean carrying loads of weight for his tribe in this challenge. And Nesto is there. GO, VUNA. GO.
Vuna with a huge lead. Zamba still struggling to make it through that third obstacle. Come. Come. Come. Come. Vuna emptying out those coconuts and sandbags. When you get here, you need to separate. Coconuts one. Take the sandbags. Put them in the other. Oh my god. That’s heavy. Coconuts. We are in this, Nicole.
We are in this. Last bag at Vuna. Vuna, you can start separating. Come on, Nicole. You can do it. Well done. There’s your bag. Go first. There’s your bag. Chap has a few more sandbags to go before he can start firing away at that wall. Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice. Sandbags, Chap. Sandbags, Chap. Chap is through.
You are good and go. Everyone, if you’re not busy, get on the mat. Okay. Chap is now getting ready to fire at that wall. IT’S A MISS. HERE YOU GO, SMASH. WELL DONE. WELL DONE. YOU CAN DO THIS. YAY! OH, NO. AND THEN A BAG ON THE RIGHT to the box. Go. Go. Go. THIS GUY, BOY. YOU GOT HIM, JEFF. YOU GOT HIM, JEFF. HUSTLING TO CATCH UP.
JEFF IS ONE BLOCK LEFT ON HIS TABLE. KEEP GOING, SMASH. NO, YOU’LL PUT US BACK IN THERE. YOU’LL PUT US BACK IN THERE AS WELL. DONE, SMASH. OH, VUNA, YOU ARE IN. PUZZLE BUILDERS, let’s go. Nice. Nice. Nice. Well done, well done, well done. Thanks, guys. And then a one piece left. AND HE DOES. GO, ZAMBA. GO, DINO.
AND KION rushing in to try and catch up to the puzzle building. Good job. Dino make quick work of the last puzzle. Can he do so again? There’s one underneath the score. There’s a whole row underneath. One slot left, one slot right. Dino, Kion are stacking those blocks trying to catch up to Vuna. Vuna had a huge lead.
Check this stuff on the left as well, hey. But just like that, Zamba starts catching up. The teeth need to go higher. There’s one underneath the teeth. This is This is wrong. First tribe to complete it successfully wins this challenge and tribal immunity, safety for another day in this game. Here we go. Make a mistake here, can cost you the challenge.
Zamba now also only a few blocks left. Yes, Dino. Yes. Yes, Dino. Yes. Put the No, no, that one there. No. Put the Put that block back. Put that block back. Guys, please. It’s the wrong way around. Dino, flip it. Dino. Dino. Yes. Flip it. Put it in. NO, IT’S NOT RIGHT. SWAP SWAP SWAP THE TWO. FRONT SIDE, BACK. FRONT SIDE, BACK.
FLIP IT. OKAY, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT, BUILD IT. SWAP THEM. Swap them around. Zamba, Zamba, Zamba. Zamba thinks they have it. We got it. We got it. They do. Zamba wins tribal immunity. With only a few seconds to spare, Zamba, you take the tribal immunity win. Well done.
Dina, you seem a bit emotional right now. To pull through like that in the end, it’s it’s just something special, man. It and it speaks to to the tribe that we have. It’s that. It’s a huge deal in this game to win immunity. Come and get it. Well done, Zamba. Zamba, in addition to the immunity, you also now have the opportunity to send someone from the losing tribe to immunity island.
I’ll give you a moment to deliberate. It’s got to be Jac. Zamba, who’s it going to be? Chappie, the girl to your right there. That is Santoni. Santoni? Santoni. That means you are going to immunity island. Grab your stuff. Off you go. Zamba tribe, grab your stuff. Off you go. Carla, I can see something’s going on there.
We had to say goodbye to someone. It sucks. And it’s partially my fault. Oh, it’s not. It’s not. It’s not your fault. Una, I’ve got nothing for you but a date with me at Tribal Council tomorrow night where this journey will end for one of you. Grab your stuff and on up. Thanks, Jeff. Now that the challenge is lost, we obviously are going to have to go to our first Tribal Council.
And so any remaining semblance of Kumbaya cohesion will now have to come to an end. And everyone now is aware that conversations are going to start happening and people are going to start talking and things are going to start getting tense. This specific immunity challenge didn’t matter as much to me because I actually wanted to do us to go to Tribal Council.
Oh my goodness, party time. Everything is so wishy-washy. No one wants to commit to alliance. Nothing’s really happening. No one’s playing the game yet. Welcome to Immunity Island. Here you are safe from the vote at Tribal Council. This is the Immunity Island necklace which gives you safety. Yay! However, you now have to make a choice.
Will you stay and play or give up and go? Open the leather pouch to see what the challenge is, what you could gain and what you could lose before you make your decision. For today’s Immunity Island challenge, you will have to swing a wooden ring and land it on a peg before the sand runs out of the timer.
If you are successful, you will receive a clue to a hidden Immunity Idol. If you are unsuccessful, you will receive a vote against your name at the next Tribal Council. Give up and go? Why? I don’t have anyone that I want to save that side. And stay and play? Of course. I’m going to get a advantage and I’m getting the night off.
I’m here. Okay. Trying to figure out the trick of this thing. Time is going so quickly. OH, YEAH. YEAH, I GOT AN IMMUNITY. OH, IT’S A GOOD DAY. OH. SHABBAT. OKAY, let’s see. You have won a clue to the location of a hidden immunity idol. Hidden at Tribal Council. The idol is hidden in the wall behind the seats. There’s a hollow piece of wood with a symbol above.
Stick your hand in the hollow and retrieve the idol. If you choose, you may leave the idol in its hiding place until you want to use it. It’s going to be so difficult to get the hidden immunity idol from Tribal Council because everyone is there. Everyone’s watching. So, I’m first going to see where it is and then I’ll decide whether I’ll just take it or leave it there as my little backup plan.
I’m feeling delirious. I’m starting to get like a little bit of delirium. The natural elements of the wild coast have got three up on us with this rain, wind, and just crazy weather. Well, let’s just to the cave. Maybe the rain is out here. Yeah, so let’s we’re going to our we’re going to our holiday house.
We decided to move to the cave that there was just too many holes in the roofing. It was just pure torture. Just pray that this rain goes away, guys. Last night was by far the worst night we’ve had on Survivor. Everything was wet, everyone was cold, and we ended up abandoning the shelter itself just to go cuddle up in a cave.
I am freezing cold. I am drenched into the inside of my body, like my bone marrow is now wet. It’s so miserable, the weather conditions right now. As things stand, two names are going to be discussed in detail, and it’s Mike and Palesa. I hadn’t heard Palesa’s name until you told me because everyone seems to be saying Mike and everyone’s having these little conversations.
There could be a potential blind side coming. There’s now like at least four of us who are going to struggle to work with Palesa. She’s really out there. But she’s so aggressive. I haven’t experienced it. She’s been really nice to me. I’ve seen it. Yeah. But I think she’s kind of pulled me into the alliance thing.
So, I mean, I see this going Who’s in her alliance? Well, I see Paul and So, she and her and Chappies were tight from day one. And Chappies and Paul are also really close. then would say it’s the three of them. That’s definitely It’s What do I do since I am part of Pintey’s alliance? I am in an alliance, the formidable four, but I didn’t realize how many people had an issue with Pintey.
So, if we’re looking at like a six, for example, we’re looking at us three and Kieran, Tyson, and Wardo. So, do you want me to confirm who they are voting for? Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be you. Speaking of this blindside for Pintey, like it’s something that I wanted for a very long time. I thought the timing wasn’t right, but the right timing is now.
This beautiful little core three has just jumped to a core six. I’m pretty sure I’ve got this in the bag. I think there’s a lot of people who are keen on voting out Pintey. Um But can I ask you a quick question, like a serious question? Yeah. Are you actually keen to vote out Pintey? I think that Mike is very strategic, so I’ve got my eye on him.
No one is is creating more fractures than Pintey. Pintey’s very abrasive, and she’s she’s stood on almost everyone’s toes. She’s definitely stood on mine, so I’m more than happy to to hear her name come up. So, what have you guys been talking about? I was saying Mike. Pretty much. But you’re close to Mike.
No, everyone thinks I’m close to Mike. Carla is super close to Mike. Yes. And you’re super close to them, so I don’t know how I understand how that makes sense. Remember, there’s a difference between appearing close to someone actually being close. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get you. I get you. Pintey goes into interrogator mode.
It was hectic. She like slapped to attention on Kieran, and I can see that Kieran is getting flustered. Wardo, I want to have a word with you. Okay. Like privately, if that’s okay. Okay, cool. For me, I can’t believe that Kieran is going to backstab Mike, but I feel like he’s quite a genuine a genuine guy and I see Mike and Carla as being a bit closer than Mike and Kieran.
Look at it from this point of view. Carla and Mike are together. Let’s get rid of Mike. We both the numbers. okay. Okay. Mike is in an alliance. If Mike is gone, his current alliance will be needing a home. I’m saying We get rid of Mike. That’s where Carla is going to be the stranded little lamb looking for a home and we’ll have the majority in the numbers.
It would make sense for Mike to go now because we could grow our numbers a little bit more. We could be powerhouse in our tribe. Survivor Immunity Island, the name speaks for itself. There’s going to be stuff to find here. And I’ve got time. So, I’m going to make the best of my of a use of my time and I will be looking cuz there’s no one looking over my shoulder checking up on me, so I can go boss, no pun.
If I had to hide a clue to immunity idol, where would it be? Come on. Ah, happy it’s what I think it Ah, yep, ek yay. Okay, let’s see. Congratulations, you have found a clue to the hidden immunity idol. Hidden at camp, here is the scoop. Where some people meet and others snoop.
Three paces north. This clue is the map. When no one is looking, take the gap. Yes. I am excited about the game because now it it gave me new life. Me, the underdog. Now I’m going to go after them. Cuz they’re all underestimating me. They have been underestimating me. Game on. I had such a good conversation with Essex this morning and I really do think I’ve just flipped her.
And I when we were speaking to her there in the in the morning, she doesn’t want the tribe to be fractured or split and she’s also starting to see behavior that she doesn’t like. So, I think it’s hard for her to lie. Mike and Cara. They are gunning for Palesa. Yeah. But I am concerned about how close Cara and Mike are. Mhm. And Palesa is keen to get Mike out.
Is it? Yeah. I thought now was not the time to get out Mike. I thought that maybe that was preemptive. Mhm. But if people are keen to get out Mike, maybe we should. Because Palesa is going to be an easy sell whenever. I look at I got so many more nights of No, dude. We’ve got so much to do. This is move one, dude.
Day six, 39. Come and play. I think my plan to blindside Palesa has worked. Well, will work. I don’t want to count my chickens, but I’m pretty sure they’re going to hatch. Let’s vote Michael off. I think Michael’s a one to go. Yeah. Sweep up Collar and we’ll make her feel like she’s got a family. In the game of Survivor, information is the currency and I currently have a lot of it.
Due to the fact that I am not approaching people, I’m letting people approach me. I do feel like I can trust you. No, you can’t. I think that I can tell you this. So, Chappies does have an advantage. Mhm. It’s called a diplomatic advantage where he can send someone from the tribe or send himself to the opposite opposing tribe. Mhm. Chappies made a mistake and that’s what I love.
When he went for that fire challenge, I found out that he won an advantage and he thinks nobody out of his alliance knows because Pinte is close to me. She was able to give me that information without me having to get it out of her. She trusts me. We’re working together. We’re the formidable four.
We’re the formidable three because I don’t know if Paul Yeah. is part of the alliance. He should be here as well. Yeah, well, yeah. the formidable three. Paul but Paul is your extension, Tyson is my extension. Let’s just please stay as the formidable three because to be honest with you, I also don’t know what Paul’s agenda is.
Chappie, he’s not communicating to me. Yeah, yeah. But point of the story is if Michael’s gone, Collar and who I thought was in alliance with him, Kieran, who seems not to be in alliance with him, will come looking for for shelter. I I agree with Pinte. I think Michael’s a good guy. Okay. We agreed that Mike is now the new target due to the fact that he kind of proved himself to be someone that I can’t trust.
So, I’m voting for Mike tonight. What I want to find out from you is does Tyson know about the advantage he took from Mike or should we let him know? No, I don’t. So, he doesn’t? No. Okay. Yeah, I told Tyson what he needs to know. Yeah. Not all he needs to know. Okay. Unless someone is playing some other kind of four-dimensional chess mastermind, but it’s meal planting.
Confidence and trust right now is really important in my alliance, and I do feel that they will honor the agreement for this first Tribal Council. Grab a torch, light it in the fire, then place it, and take a seat. In this game, fire represents your life. As long as you have it, you’re in the game. If your torch goes out, so do you.
And I’ll bring in Santoni, returning from Immunity Island. Santoni, grab a torch, light it in the fire, place it, and take a seat. Vuna, welcome to Tribal Council. Warda, when we started out, when your tribe was just formed, you mentioned just what great vibes you were getting from everyone around you.
Is that still the case? Look, as we’ve gotten to know one another, obviously, we’re going to see little things that would irritate one another. You get put together with this family that you didn’t choose, and now you suddenly have to just get along. Most families have a black sheep in the family, don’t they? So, the question is, is there a black sheep in this family? Karla.
It’s a good question, Nico. I think we’re going to find that out tonight. Um I think they’re just like over the course of today, um I’ve noticed a little bit more faction than before. Maybe that’s due to panic, just some hustling, um and also the fact that we had our first Tribal Council. You know, no one wants to go home.
But sure, I’m going to be interested to see who that black sheep really is. Tyson. Tribal Council has an incredible way of really messing with harmony in a tribe. With Tribal Council looming, how does it affect the mood back at camp? Everyone within the tribe feels like they’re not safe. Because at the end of the day, we’re playing the game of Survivor.
If you feel you’re safe, then you’re you’re just naive and cocky at this point because you should open your eyes to the fact that more and more conversations, more and more private conversations are happening around camp. So, you’re not always in the loop with what’s going on. And uncertainty breeds anxiety. Anesu, you agree with that? 100%.
I think, um unless you’ve got a necklace around your neck, um everybody has an equal chance of being voted out. And as soon as you start to become complacent or overconfident, that usually means that you’re out of the loop. Well, that begs the question, Santoni. If you weren’t sitting there with a lovely necklace around your neck tonight, would you be uncomfortable? Definitely. Now, I was very relieved.
I I would have been maybe my head would have been on the chopping block. But luckily, you’re safe from the vote tonight. You have the immunity necklace around your neck. That means no votes can be cast against your name. However, that comes with a sacrifice. Do you want to elaborate? Unfortunately, because I have this necklace, I can’t vote tonight. So.
Hope it doesn’t mess anyone around. All right, Chappies. What Tyson said, very important. If you’re feeling comfortable right now in this game, maybe you should be a little worried. Should comfort come with that that warning in the back of your head? Definitely, Nico. Um there’s a 10% chance that you can walk out here without your tribe.
So, you got to keep that in mind. At the end of the day, you got to trust your gut feeling when it comes to the relationships that you’ve got with tribe members and the depth of those relationships. Pinty, Nico says there’s a 10% chance of being voted out tonight. However, if you consider it with external factors, it could be different.
There’s a depth of in which you you know you have a relationship with someone within the tribe. And if you can trust the people that you have a relationship with in the in in the tribe and you feel safe in the depth within that relationship, then maybe you do have a 50% chance of walking back out of here with the tribe as opposed to a 10% chance.
Someone’s going home tonight. Someone is not part of the collective. Is there one collective, Anesu? Are there a few? Coming out of a tribal, you want to come out as a cohesive tribe. The way that I would like to vote, I think, is in a way we relieve this tribal council and we all feel upset about the person who’s going home, but we feel like we’ve made the right decision for the tribe.
And and that’s what I’m going with today. Mike, you feel the same way? Um I’m I’m trusting the people I’m working with. Um I can see the logic behind the decision that’s been made. So, that emboldens me, makes me feel a bit better, but it’s not one where I’ve stitched in every single aspect of it.
So, I’m So, a decision’s been made and you’re going along with it. Yeah. Paul, how does one go about figuring out at what percentage you stand? To be honest, I actually have no idea how you do that, Nico, but at the end of the day I just feel, who do I get along with more right now? Who will actually possibly be on my side and then I’ll worry about the tactics later.
But further down the line, it will become very evident whether you actually this person is a handbag or whether it’s like, “Okay, well, now you’re actually just being silly keeping them.” Garrick. Yes, Nico. What’s informing your vote tonight? I’ve had the most fun in this game so far when we were united as a tribe.
One of the things that have stuck out is that it becomes abundantly clear that some people start thinking individually and it’s not exactly, I think, what we’re trying to do and create in unity, especially in such tough circumstances. I think we need to to come together and be fully focused as a tribe.
Being too individual at this point is is a weakness. With that, it is time to vote. Tyson, you’re up first. I get the votes. If anyone’s in possession of a hidden
immunity idol and you’d like to play it, now would be the time to do that. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I’ll read the votes. Pinty That’s one vote Pinty. Pinty That’s two votes Pinty. Mike Two votes Pinty, one vote Mike.
Mike That’s two votes Mike. Two votes Pinty. Warda One vote Warda, two votes Mike, two votes Pinty. Pinty That’s three votes Pinty, two votes Mike, one vote Warda. Pinty That’s four votes Pinty. Second person voted out of Survivor SA, Immunity Island. Pinty Pinty, that’s five, that’s enough. You need to bring me your torch.
Pinty Tribe has spoken. Well, your objective tonight was to vote the tribe stronger. Let’s hope you’ve done that. Grab your stuff, off you go. Santeni, please leave the Immunity Island necklace on your seat.
