In a report aired on 24 Oras on Tuesday, the GMA Network star shared during the show’s watch party in Pampanga that he was happy viewers appreciated the hard work of the cast and crew.

Dingdong said that although he and his co-stars had already watched the episode three to four times, they still felt the same excitement every time they saw it. He added that the experience remained heart-pounding and fulfilling, especially knowing that audiences were enjoying and appreciating their work.

The actor also praised Miguel Tanfelix for his impressive performance following the young actor’s special appearance in the series. Dingdong shared that he had long wanted to work with Miguel and was amazed by how much maturity the actor had gained over the years.

According to Dingdong, Miguel has made a huge leap in his growth as an actor and is now confidently taking on action-packed roles. Earlier, Dingdong also posted on Instagram that he was happy to see Miguel entering the world of hard-action projects and admired the dedication he showed in every scene.

Meanwhile, Dingdong’s co-star Shuvee Etrata teased that viewers can expect even more surprises as the story continues. She said the series is only beginning and promised many exciting moments in the upcoming episodes.

“The Master Cutter” officially premiered on GMA Prime on May 11 after its early release on Netflix on May 8.

The pilot episode introduced audiences to Atoy, a highly skilled former Scout Ranger who is pursuing an Italian-Argentinian arms dealer.

In the first episode, Miguel Tanfelix made a surprise appearance as a soldier working undercover among the villain’s armed guards.

The series is directed by Dominic Zapata and also stars Max Collins, Rio Locsin, Paolo Contis, Joey Marquez, Polo Ravales, Anthony Constantino, Charlie Fleming, and Sienna Stevens.

The show also marks Dingdong Dantes’ return to primetime television since starring in Royal Blood in 2023. In the new series, he plays Atoy, a retired soldier who later becomes a tailor and tracker-for-hire.
